Long-time Canadian creative and agency executive Helen Pak is joining Disney Parks, Experience and Products as head of its internal agency, Yellow Shoes.
According to a Disney release, Pak’s mandate is sweeping. She’ll head a team of 250, leading creative worldwide for Disney’s multiple park properties as well as Disney Cruise Line, resorts and Imagineering (Disney Media and Studios is separate from Parks—see the company’s portfolio here.)
Pak has spent most of her 20-year career in Canadian advertising agencies, most recently as president and chief creative officer of Grey. Earlier agency stops included Havas, Saatchi & Saatchi, Ogilvy, Strawberry Frog and Taxi. She also spent a little more than a year as global creative strategist at Facebook.
