Sun Life has picked Publicis to lead its next national brand campaign.
According to a short release, Publicis will work with Sun Life on all “communication projects, such as understanding, developing and activating the brand, as well as in their marketing approach and in integrated communications.”
However, the assignment is a one-year contract for now, running until April 2021. Sun Life said Publicis will be, for the next year, “at the heart of the development of an integrated national brand campaign that aims to bring awareness and familiarize consumers with Sun Life’s global offering.”
“We were impressed with the Publicis team, their passion, their energy and the breadth of their services,” said Brigitte Dagnault, Sun Life’s assistant vice-president of Canadian marketing. “With the collaboration of their talents between Montreal and Toronto, we feel that Publicis is positioned to understand our market and ensure we deliver an effective and creative campaign that will demonstrate how we can empower Canadians to achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.”
Sun Life did not immediately reply to a request for additional comment.
