Jenny Glover named acting CCO at JP\TBWA

Juniper Park\TBWA has announced Jenny Glover is its acting chief creative officer, just days after it was announced former creative leader Graham Lang departed for a CCO role with Taxi.

Glover arrived at the Toronto agency from its sister TBWA agency TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris in 2018, after spending 20 years working in South Africa. She joins a senior leadership team that also includes fellow TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris alum Des Jones as chief strategy officer and CEO Jill Nykoliation.

“I’m excited to continue my creative leadership of this agency,” said Glover in a release. “Of course, the ultimate goal is always to create branding excellence for our clients, but my methodology is also fundamentally human—to stay creatively curious, keep pushing, and to create better work by nurturing and growing talent. For me, the work and the people are intrinsically connected.”

An acclaimed creative with multiple Lions and Pencils to her credit, Glover is also known for her ability to nurture and develop talent. In South Africa, she was one of the co-founders of Open Chair, a gender equity initiative aimed at “filling chairs” with talented young women, and putting the onus on agency leaders to offer that talent opportunity.

“Beyond borders, Jenny is one of the best creatives in the industry and she epitomizes our core agency values of gratitude and growth,” said Nykoliation in a release. “She combines world-class creativity with unwavering humanity, which makes her beloved by both our team and our clients. Jenny leaves an indelible mark on people’s careers.”
