The Keg puts the focus on ‘you’ for new campaign

The Keg has evolved its “See you tonight” brand platform with a heavy emphasis on the good times to be had at the popular steakhouse thanks to the “unparalleled hospitality” provided there.

The campaign by Juliet launched July 28 and runs for 10 weeks across broadcast, digital, radio, print, social and OOH.

“The goal was to bring the energy of a fun night out, into a fully integrated campaign,” said a statement provided by Juliet.

Creative puts the focus on an eclectic mix of guests—ie. “you”—showcasing a diverse group of age and demos, but all equally fabulous. “When you walk into The Keg, YOU are the main character,” reads one Instagram post. “It’s why our place often feels like home. We can’t wait to celebrate good times with you.”

The TV spot features a quick-cut video and stills montage of happy people having a happy time soundtracked by the up-tempo electro-pop tune “Parler” by Social Dance.

Along with paid advertising, The Keg is relying on PR, earned media and live events and activations, including a surprise performance by Arkells at Toronto’s famous Keg Mansion last week.

“In addition to embodying a fun night out at the Keg, Juliet’s campaign shines a light directly on the people that visit The Keg,” said the statement. “It aims to attract a younger demographic, while still staying true to The Keg’s core audience with a focus on bringing people together for unforgettable moments.”
