Just two weeks after announcing Plus Company had acquired marketing technology consultancy Munvo, Cossette has confirmed the addition of Peter Keiller as part of its efforts to boost its data driven, one-to-one marketing.
Keiller, who started working with Cossette on contract in March, has officially joined the agency as group vice-president and head of technology, leading the agency’s CRM group.
“Our strategic priority to invest in 1:1 aligns with the broader investments we’ve made here at Cossette in data and analytics, predictive modelling and synthetic data,” said Julie Haroutunian, Cossette’s vice-president and managing director (left in top photo).
Keiller has more than 20 years experience in the industry, most recently at Slalom where he was a director on the global marketing cloud team specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
In a release announcing his hiring, Cossette singled out Keiller’s ability to “stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, consumer insights and evolving requirements in the 1:1 space.”
Working at the “intersection of data, creativity and technology,” Keiller will help expand Cossette’s CRM technical capabilities while building “synergy” with Munvo.
“Cossette currently offers platform-agnostic solutions while making strides to become an industry-leading centre of excellence in the 1:1 space,” it said.
“Joining an agency of Cossette’s creative reputation and playing a key role in further building out a strong 1:1 offering is an opportunity I simply couldn’t pass up,” said Keiller in the release.
“It’s exciting to learn about its rich history in this space, and how further investing in that expertise is a strategic priority—not only for Cossette, but for Plus Company as well. More and more clients are looking for a creative platform-driven approach, and it’s particularly crucial in today’s data-driven environment.”
