Zula Alpha Kilo’s Vancouver office just won a client with lofty ambitions. AT2 Aerospace hopes to revolutionize global shipping with its hybrid airships, which are capable of transporting heavy cargo to remote locations with minimal environmental impact.
The company’s roots are in aeronautics company Lockheed Martin, but the IP was transferred to AT2 earlier this year to help bring the airships to market. The Santa Clarita, Ca-based company is headed by the retired Lockheed Martin program lead on the airship project, Dr. Robert Boyd, and Dr. Grant Cool.
ZAK is being asked to build foundational brand strategy and positioning, a design identity system, and a creative platform for the new hybrid airships.
“The commercial and humanitarian applications for these airships around the world are extraordinary, and the entire agency can’t wait to dive in and get started,” said David Tremblay, managing director of Zulu Alpha Kilo, Vancouver.
Toronto-based ZAK opened in Vancouver last February, and has recently done work for ferry brand, Hullo!, Save-On-Foods, and Destination BC, and is currently hiring across creative, design, strategy, and account services.
